The 39+ Dance Club was formed during the 1970s to provide live music to a group of senior citizens in San Luis Obispo County, California. After a few trial locations, landed in Morro Bay, CA, and have provided listening and dancing to live music from local bands ever since.

All have enjoyed the health benefits of getting out into the community; seeing old and new faces that enjoy the same things; listening to and dancing to great Live Bands play musical tunes from our younger days; or just to socializing with old and new friends.

39+ participate in the Alzheimer Association's Longest Day Fund Raising event, they join in to educate the community, including the benefits of music and dancing in our lives. 

The club is associated with and sponsored by the Central Coast Dance Community, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, to bring more dancing opportunities to seniors in our community and surrounding areas.
